Everyone loves travel and everyone loves travel research, so we were thrilled to be interviewed by Air Canada's enRoute Magazine, one of the best in-flight magazines in the world, about what we pack when we go on a trip. In their recurring Leaders of the Pack section, enRoute Magazine interviews a traveler about travel in general and what they like to pack with them. To be honest, it's one of our first reads every issue, so we were so excited to talk about our upcoming trip to Brazil for World Cup and fabric shows. Cursor & Thread in Vancouver Magazine

We were thrilled to be included in Amanda Ross' April's Silver Lining shopping guide for Spring in the current issue of Vancouver Magazine! Ross included us among some luxurious items, and rightfully chose to feature out Italian cotton, San Marco Bow Tie. Now while it looks like the tie image is very small, it actually won Biggest Bow Tie Image in the magazine this issue!

Gifts for him under $100

We were chuffed to be included in BC Living's Gifts for him under $100 along with some other fantastic BC brands. (It would probably be irresponsible of us to not mention the little badge of honour down there beside our new Shin-Koiwa Bow Tie.) On top of that, Cursor & Thread was featured on The Rush yesterday, and will be on Global TV tomorrow morning, and CTV next week! Next stop, The Green Room.

Casual C&T Bows in the TC

Last week, Richard Watts reported on the new casual nature of the bow tie, in the Times Colonist. Front and centre for the piece were a few casual Cursor & Thread Bow Ties in the shape of the popular Bike Bow, the Flannel Polka and the old faithful Salt'n'Pepper. We love reading the paper, especially when it talks up the liberation of our blessed bows: "...bow ties are moving beyond the traditional, dressy silk. Patterned cotton, wool and various fabrics blended with polyester and nylon are making a show in the bow tie."
